To move forward, they needed guidance on which business models to pursue, how to source deals, and how to evaluate originators for billing, collections, and reputational reliability.
SOLUTION
Alta conducted a strategic evaluation of equipment types, ticket sizes, industry focus, and risk profiles to narrow the client’s options. After aligning on an investment strategy, Alta developed a U.S. origination model and performed a nationwide market scan. From 50 potential originators, 35 were vetted in person, resulting in a shortlist of 10 qualified syndicators. Alta also advised on key contract structures, including assignment, agency, and remarketing. To date, the client has successfully placed over $10 million in equipment financing.
