SITUATION

A bank-affiliated specialty lender and existing client of The Alta Group made a large advance of funding on a revolving line to an independent equipment leasing company. Alta’s Business Assessment Team was engaged to provide periodic field examinations to review the borrower/obligor’s business practices, operational details, on-going credit and underwriting policies and procedures, and overall methods of conducting business in leasing.

SOLUTION

Alta has rendered detailed periodic reports for the client that were used to guide the client’s decision-making about extending the line of credit and providing further financial support to the borrower. Alta continues to work with the client for this service and to advise the lender on additional requests for increased funding advances.
